Presentation by Lance Main
At our October meeting we were privileged to hear
Lance Main present samples of his art work and explain
something of his creative thought process and the
technical aspects of his work. He encouraged artists
to stretch their creativity by trying new mediums.
He then introduced his business venture,
Occhuzzie Paint Company, a family business that he
is promoting to sell his own oil paints. He had samples
of his paint, all made by hand, using only high quality
pigments. He explained the differences between
traditional and synthetic colors, transparent and opaque
colors, and talked about the different types of white.
He took questions from the audience about his work
and his line of paints.
